The portable AED is equipped with a compact, battery operated Save Station GO monitoring device. This provides 24/7 monitoring of the AED status, ensuring it is ‘ready for rescue’. It also includes location services with GPS tracking, and hands-free 2-way communication with emergency services.
This is where YOU can help!
If you are a business, municipality, or foundation, you can get involved by sponsoring the strategic placement of SaveStations in highly visible0 and accessible locations throughout communities. Sponsoring a SaveStation provides an opportunity to showcase your organization's commitment to health and safety and provides branded visibility in the community you serve.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, at any time, but unfortunately, the survival rate is only about 10%. This is largely because we do not have enough public awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, AEDs and the importance of CPR. SaveStation is helping communities place more AEDs in public spaces and empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to take action!
AED's belong everywhere in our communities and thousands of lives can be saved simply by making them more accessible in public locations. Common public locations often include parks, playgrounds, waterfronts, trails, sports facilities, business, or any and all public spaces.
If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring a SaveStation in the City of Richland, please visit their website to learn more.
